From the Sentinel: "Among the five student winners in two contests sponsored by the Friends of the UCSC Library, were Malcolm Blanchard, Crown College sophomore, and Patricia Hall, Stevenson college senior. Blanchard won with his original design for a printer's mark, to be used for the UCSC Library's Lime Kiln Press. Miss Hall won second place in the Annual Book Collection contest, with her 'Magical World of .Johnny Gruelle'."
