Sherri Hill of Cupertino, a junior at Porter College, won a first-place prize of $200 for her collection on "The Costume Designer's Art." Hill is majoring in Theater Arts/Costume Design. A second-place prize of $125 was awarded to Elizabeth Horan, a graduate student in literature, for her books on "Gabriela Mistral: Her Life and Work." Third place and $75 were awarded to Dale Pendell, a College Eight senior with a double major in literature and information and computer sciences, for his collection, "Haiku and the Vision of a BookâThe Gold Dust Wilderness Collection."
